Solutions Include China ITS Stack and Safety Applications for Enhanced Road Safety and Transportation Efficiency

Based on the Qualcomm® 9150 C-V2X chipset solution from Qualcomm Technologies, Inc., a subsidiary of Qualcomm Incorporated, Genvict’s new C-V2X solution includes the China ITS stack and safety applications for RSUs and OBUs to aid in delivering C-V2X communication capabilities, such as vehicle-to-vehicle (V2V), vehicle-to-infrastructure (V2I) and vehicle-to-pedestrian (V2P), in support of road safety and transportation efficiency.
C-V2X technologies are designed to aid cities in becoming smarter and to support increasingly intelligent transport systems to become safer and more efficient. C-V2X is a communication technology based on the global 3rd Generation Partnership Project (3GPP) specifications, whose PC5-based direct communication mode operating in the 5.9 GHz ITS spectrum allows exchange of V2V and V2I messages for collision avoidance without any dependency on a cellular operator network. C-V2X has an ongoing evolution designed to offer forward compatibility in implementation with 5G New Radio C-V2X (5G NR C-V2X).
